A novel apple disease has been recorded for the first time in Kyrgyzstan. Based on visual assessment, it was preliminarily identified as Apple chlorotic leaf spot disease caused by Apple Chlorotic Leaf Spot Virus (ACLSV). Symptoms include chlorotic spots on leaves and brownish ring-shaped, arcuate, and mosaic lesions on fruits. Leaf and fruit samples were collected in Kok-Kashat village, Talas District, in July 2025. These findings are significant for phytosanitary surveillance and protection of apple orchards in the region.
